Projects

Camden County, Georgia VHF Simulcast

Dadelus is providing system engineering services to the prime vendor including all phases of design and integration of a 4 site, 7 channel simulcasted VHF public safety radio system. Dispatch Center integration and statewide interoperability considerations are also part of the project.

City of Savannah Microwave Upgrade

Dadelus acted as system engineering services for a 5 site, 6 GHz microwave upgrade including FAT, installation documentation, and ATP development.

NYC Emergency Communications Transformation Project (ECTP2)

Dadelus provided subject matter expert (SME) services to Northrop Grumman in support of New York City’s Emergency Communications Transformation Project for both NYPD and FDNY. A new 50 000 square foot dispatch center with 168 dispatch positions.  The center went live in June 2016.

State of Maine (MSCommNet)

Hillsborough County, Florida Rebanding CATP

Dadelus performed both pre and post rebanding coverage testing and post-processed results for Sprint-Nextel and the customer.  This required the deployment of two coverage teams using automated coverage tools as well as live operator DAQ testing.

State of Florida (SLERS)

The State of Florida Law Enforcement Communication System (SLERS) is part of the State’s PPP (Public Private Partnership) initiative.  The M/A-Com wireless division of Tyco Electronics will own and operate a statewide EDACS network that will provide 22 state agencies including the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and the Florida Wildlife Commission (FWC) with two-way radio communications and mobile data.

Operating in the 800MHz public safety band, the system is comprised of over 160 radio sites around the state linked by private microwave radio and leased telco circuits.  For more information on the network click here.

Florida Interoperability Network (FIN)

The State of Florida has undertaken an effort to build-out NPSPAC channels TAC2, TAC3, and TAC4 statewide.  Also included in the build-out are VHF and UHF as well as a state mutual aid channel for public safety use.  For more information on this project click here.

Oakland County, Michigan (CLEMIS)

Oakland County Michigan CLEMIS project is a M/A-COM OpenSky system comprised of over 30 radio sites.  Site connectivity is provided by County IP infrastructure and backed up by telco ISDN circuits.  The CLEMIS system will link together over 50 local government and public safety entities.
